Every day we are overwhelmed by visual footage of newscast hotspots from around the world. Against one’s better judgment we think of these pictures as capable of providing relevant details and responsible information.

In our work [POV] we transform the images by enhancing characteristic features and removing individual traits and thereby ask how comprehensive our understanding of journalistic images is.
