Everyday, some very intimate pictures are published on the internet – by no means meant to be public good. Unintentionally they become part of a globaly accessible collection of images – footage of weddings,

We use these pictures as templates for simplified drawings and publish them within our project PUBLIC PRIVACY – thus creating deliberate accessible images.

Every day we are overwhelmed by visual footage of newscast hotspots from around the world. Against one’s better judgment we think of these pictures as capable of providing relevant details and responsible information.

In our work [POV] we transform the images by enhancing characteristic features and removing individual traits and thereby ask how comprehensive our understanding of journalistic images is.
